I was a Special Education elementary school teacher in Taiwan.
I have a friend whom I truly admire. She makes incredibly delicious desserts. She has sort short, straight, black hair and is taller than me. She is thin and always wears contact lenses. One of the thing things I admire most about her is her hardworking nature.
Alought Although we have many differences, the biggest one is that she really loves cooking, ehile while I dislike it. Desopte Despite our contrasting interesrs interests, we've been friends for one and a half years. I admire how she embraces her love for cooking, something I don't enjoy at all.
Australia is a really big and wide country. I think everything seems very big to me because Taiwan is too small. (*補冠詞 a;widely → wide)
Due to Taiwan's small size, you can travel anywhere easily.
When I ride the motorcycle, I can easily find parking.
I wrote some postcards to my friends. I made a phone call to my family on Lunar New Year.
Australia is a diverse country accepting of different people with diverse cultural backgrounds. I'm back in my hometown. (*culture → cultural 形容詞;I am be → I'm)
I put my foot down with my family because when I decided to go abroad to Australia. Because They were are were worried about me. Because I never live my country so that it was my first time to go abroad by myself and at that time, there were It's a big news reports in Taiwan about some people being tricked into going to countries like Cambodia. Many Taiwanese were deceived after searching online for job opportunities, thinking they could earn more money. But once they arrived, their passports were taken, and they were forced to work doing things like scamming others over the phone to steal money.
I left my country last September. It was my first go abroad, and I took an airplane to Western Australia. I studied in a language school for four weeks and made many new friends from the other countries. While studying in language school, I lived in a homestay. My host parents had two little children. They were friendly towards me. I tried to use English to communicate with my classmates and my homestay family. At first, I was afraid to speak English because I had less speaking and listening in school. In Taiwan, our education focuses on practicing reading and speaking as much. When my host mom encouraged me to speak English, even though I spoke slowly, she listened to me with patience. Although, I made many mistakes, I found that she still understood what I wanted to express. This was important to me because I realized that language is a tool for communication. I no longer fear expressing myself.
When I arrived in Australia the first time. When I flew to WA I had to transfer in Singapore. My first job was the one in the Chinese massage. We visited an island in Western Australia. (*is → was 過去式)
I went back to Taiwan for three weeks. I have been here / in Australia for nearly a year. I left my country a year ago.(語序問題,時間放最後) I go to work by car. My boss is from Malaysia. Since I live in the countryside, I need to take the train or other forms of transport. Although my boss cooks lunch and dinner, the food is very oily / greasy.
I work in restaurant, so it depends on how many customers visit here. Since I work in a restaurant, I have many customers and need to prepare their breakfast. My coworker and I are going to an aboriginal area to experience their cultural.
If I want to go to somewhere, it takes a long time (*much → a long). The houses are far apart (*固定說法 far apart). Even if you have money you can't spend any of it. There are many trees which have many bats on them. If you drive, it will take about 3 hours. I have a roommate and my colleagues live here, too. Because we live too far from each other, we don't have a chance to see each other. There are lots of kangaroo meats sold in Australia. You can smell the stronger aroma 氣味 of grass. Honestly, I am not sure because most of my co-workers are from Taiwan. If you touch them, an alarm will go off.
It is located in the center of Australia.
My second job was working at an Asian restaurant.
His personality seems old-fashioned — he always wants us to do more and more work at the same time, even when it's very busy. He's not really relaxed or considerate; he just wants to make more money and doesn't care about his staff.
I just got off work. / I just got home from work. I've been working in Australia for one and half year. I have seen my family since the last time I was back in Taiwan. I will go back Taiwan in September. Too much rain caused flooding in the streets. (*cause → caused 過去式)
I put my foot down to and decided to apply for a job where is located in the snowy mountains. The government closed the bridge and road because of flooding. They tried to protect people from danger. We will have dinner together with our co-workers. I will start in June. When I last time went back to Taiwan. She lives in New Caledonia.
The number of people accepted for working holidays in New Zealand is limited. (*they accept → accepted;holiday → holidays 複數)
They always walk on barefoot. (*walk barefoot 不加介系詞 on)
In Taiwan, we have a public holiday on which we always visit the graves of our ancestors to remember them.
I wish I had a house thats that's not too small and not too big either. So if I wanted to clean, it wouldn't take too much time and being tiring and be tiring. (*thats → that's;and being tiring → and be tiring,對稱 wouldn't take...and be...)
Wishful thinking can be a problem if it stops you from taking action or making real plans. If you only wish for good things but don't put in the work, you might end up disappointed when nothing chabnges changes.
For examplp example, if you want to be a doctor, you can't just wish for it — you need to study, work hard, and practice. Dreaming is important, but so is taking action to make those dreams happen.
Dreaming about something is nice, but it won't help you reach your goal unless you rake action take action. If you only think about it and never do anything, your dream will remain just that — a dream.
Because if you spend too much time thinking about it, you have less time to act on it.
